Moving-Up Application
*Moving-up Application: only previously mentored faculty seeking an ATE Project grant and those who have not worked with a mentor previously are eligible to apply as “New-to-ATE”*
Mentor-Connect invites colleges interested in developing Moving-Up proposals to apply for no-cost mentoring that focuses on meeting the Advanced Technological Education (ATE) Project requirements. Participating colleges may request up to twenty hours of mentoring that includes constructive comments by email or telephone conference.
When ready to apply, college team applicants should:
Important: All applicants must submit an affidavit signed by a college administrator supporting the development of the ATE Project proposal, a complete copy of your New-to-ATE proposal, a National Science Foundation (NSF) Program Officer review, and all peer reviews. Download the affidavit here.
Part 1 and Part 2 must be submitted by April 1 of each year, with one exception for your application to be considered complete. An extension until May 1 will apply for colleges whose proposals were declined in April.

After completing Part 1 of your application, please upload all the required material below. Then submit the completed form again with your copy of the New-to-ATE proposal and/or New-to-ATE proposal with reviewer comments.
