Does your college use an asset or deficit model to describe students and their achievements? The HSI ATE Hub 2 project examines how our mindset and how we look at students can affect their success. This work has implications for everything from classroom management, to curriculum requirements, to institutional goal setting. Learn more about the difference between asset based and deficit based models, and how changes to this model in the classroom and in the college environment can support student success.
This webinar is in collaboration with the Center for Broadening Participation in STEM at Arizona State University, and Mentor-Connect at Florence-Darlington Technical College and Westchester Community College.
