COVID-19 and Mentor-Connect Program Operation Update

Florence, S.C. (May, 2020) – Due to COVID-19, many states have been under quarantine orders, causing many technical college campuses to be closed and faculty and staff to work remotely from home. Read more about how this is currently affecting our program as well.

As states prepare to reopen, we will continue to monitor and follow both state and federal guidelines in order to ensure that we are putting safety and security first. In the meantime, we are working to make sure that necessary communication continues, and we expect no delays in communication despite the current circumstances. As for future in-person meetings, such as conferences, we are monitoring the situation and are in contact with conference organizers to find out if those meeting will be cancelled, rescheduled to a later date, or moved to a virtual meeting platform. We will be sure to keep you updated on any and all changes.

Moving forward, rest assured, we are continuing to work hard to ensure that all future plans and communication remain seamless and that you continue to receive the information, help, and support needed for your success. Please know that, as always, we are here to address any questions or concerns. In the meantime, please continue to stay safe as we go through this crisis together.

Sincerely,

The Mentor-Connect Project Team
